A LIFE coach from Ludgershall has been recognised with business award for bringing positive changes in people’s lives.

Gillian Hughes, the founder and CEO of Chatty Flamingo in Ludgershall, has won the Women Business Awards for Positivity from Women’s Business Club.

“It is such an honour to be awarded the Positivity Award,” said Gillian, who started her career in life coaching after realising many of her friends would go to her to talk ‘things’ over.

“During what has been a tough time I am thrilled that the positivity from myself and my business, Chatty Flamingo has been recognised with this prestigious award.

“This last 18 months has been a struggle with loneliness and a desire for change being a growing factor for many women.

“I’m even more delighted in having such a positive impact on many people’s lives. I feel honoured, proud, humbled and driven to reach more women, and to work with them to help them make a ‘positive’ difference to their lives.”

Gillian says she has a natural way of helping improve how others are feeling as well as improving their situations.

She added that she is passionate about making a difference and coaching is a perfect way for her to achieve this.

“So I went back to more self-development. I studied Life Coaching, Life Purpose Coaching and Spiritual Life Coaching and fell in love with them all.”

Angela De Souza, founder of Women’s Business Club, said: “There is nothing quite like celebrating the accomplishments of our businesswomen.

“This year we saw some incredible entries which made the judge's decision really tough. Although only one woman could win in each category, we feel that every single woman who entered is a winner - she is still standing, she is still determined to succeed and she still has hope for the future, a winning attitude indeed.

“I am so proud of all businessmen and women who are pushing through this tough year.”
