A MAN who was caught drink driving in the New Forest has been banned from the roads.
Scott Pike was caught drink driving on the A35 through Holmsley on May 8 last year.
The 37-year-old was found to have 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He also failed to surrender to court on July 27 last year.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one count of drink driving and one count of failing to surrender to court.
Pike, of Tappesfield Road, London, was disqualified from driving for 28 months and was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
