Winchester Coroners Court
An inquest has opened into the death of a Holbury woman who died in hospital.
Linda Bond, of Whitefield Road, died on January 8 at Southampton General Hospital.
The 65-year-old was admitted to hospital on December 8 after feeling unwell.
Following this, she deteriorated and was put on palliative care.
The causes of death were found to be: metastatic epithelised peritoneal mesothelioma and asbestos exposure.
Area coroner Jason Pegg adjourned the full inquest at Winchester Coroner's Court to take place on August 2.
