Young people in Hampshire are being given the opportunity to vote for the local Cultural Education Partnership’s logo.

Demo Consultancies and Hampshire Music Service are calling for all 11-18-year-olds in Hampshire to take part in the quest to find the next logo for the partnership – and be entered in a prize draw to win a £20 Amazon gift card if they take part.

The Hampshire Cultural Education Partnership (HCEP) is one of more than 140 CEPs across England.

The introduction of CEPs was brought together by the Arts Council and the Department for Education in 2015, with the aim of improving the alignment of cultural education of young people.

Late last year, the Hampshire Music Service, the lead partner organisation for the HCEP, put out a tender to find an organisation to design a logo for the local CEP, whilst involving as many young people from across the county as possible.

Dmitrijs said: “It is really exciting to be a part of this process, and to be able to involve as many young people in this as possible is incredibly important a,s at the end of the day, the partnership was created as a means of reaching young people from across the county."

Young people have until March 18 at 5pm to cast their vote by going to tinyurl.com/HCEP-Logo.
