AN ANDOVER man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a collision on the A303.

Shortly after 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday), a grey BMW, a white Renault heavy tractor unit and white Renault were involved in a collision on the A303 westbound near Upper Bullington.

One of the drivers involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.

One lane was closed for approximately two hours while the emergency services responded to the incident.

A 45-year-old man, from Andover, has been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level in excess of the prescribed limit and remains under investigation.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries and police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the incident?

"Do you have any dash-cam footage or CCTV images that could help the investigation?"
