STUDENTS at Andover College used their musical talents to raise money for Ukraine.

Music Academy students fundraised with their event, Loud for Ukraine.

Staff and students donated £2 upon entry to the college theatre, 1,803 and were treated to several original and well-known hits performed and stage managed by students.

At Sparsholt College, staff and students at the Animal Health and Welfare Research Centre held a cake sale to support the Nowzad Charity in their work to support and resupply rescue centres in Ukraine, its mission so close to the department and wider college communities’ hearts.

A wide selection of homemade cakes, cookies, jams and of course some treats for our furry friends too helped raise an impressive total of £343.90 for the charity.

Catharine Potter, animal centre head, said: “This is an amazing amount and will be a tremendous help to Nowzad and their efforts to get much needed pet supplies to rescue centres in Ukraine.”
