ANDOVER residents are invited to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a vintage tea dance.

On Thursday, June 2, St Mary's Church will be hosting the event, featuring an afternoon of dancing as Jayne Deer sings music from the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.

The Mayor of Test Valley will be in attendance, and refreshments will be served by the Friends of St Mary's group.

The event will run from 2-4.30pm, with doors opening at 1.50pm.

It is completely free to attend, but sign-up is needed with more than 100 people already registered. Visit: bit.ly/vintagedance or call 07719994538.

In addition, the church will be holding a Service of Thanksgiving on the same day, before the Lighting on the Beacon in the Memorial Gardens. This will run from 8.45pm with the Beacons event at 9.45pm.
