TWO PEOPLE were rescued after falling overboard from a drifting speedboat in the Solent at the weekend.
Crews from Cowes RNLI found the speedboat emitting smoke near the River Hamble in the evening of Sunday, June 26.
They received reports the boat was seen drifting between Cowes and Calshot.
Two casualties who fell overboard were rescued and taken to Southampton.
Crews later returned to tow the vessel from the Solent.
