Blackburn singer-songwriter Jacob Reddy has joined forces with upcoming alt rock band Novustory to create a new track in support of StreamAid.
'The World Is Ours' is described as a "powerful and uplifting song reflecting the worries of a younger generation" over climate change.
Seventeen-year-old indie pop singer songwriter Jacob last year launched his ‘All 51 Cities In 22 Days’ Busking Tour of England, raising over £10,000 for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
Meanwhile Novustory, an alt-rock powerhouse, also based in Blackburn, have used sustainable materials to build their own top of the range music studio (Esche Haus Audio), where they not only write and record their own materials, but also support young, upcoming North West talent.
Jacob said he was inspired by the efforts of a small team of Streamers, Podcasters, influencers and music festival organisers – StreamAid (www.streamaidlive.com) – who have come together to help people in the business community develop 'tools and solutions to help solve the climate change crisis'.
The single will be released on July 1 on all streaming platforms.
You can listen to the track on Jacob's Soundcloud account here.
