A 15-YEAR-OLD boy who was found with a weapon in Millbrook has now been charged.
The teenager was arrested on Sunday after trying to avoid officers who wanted to stop him for a search.
Police spotted him on Windermere Avenue, at the bus stop outside Millbrook Towers.
When it was clear he didn't plan to stop, officers chased him through Mansel Park.
After being detained, police found a large kitchen knife in his waistband.

The boy has been charged with possession of a weapon in a public place.
He appeared at Southampton Youth Court yesterday where he was remanded to appear in court again on Monday July 4.
