POLICE have closed sections of a major road this morning in Southampton.
Posting on social media at 6.30am on Thursday, Hampshire police warned of closures on Thomas Lewis Way.
The post said: "Please be aware of the following road closures in Southampton:
"Thomas Lewis Way closed between Burgess Road and St Denys Road.
"No access to Thomas Lewis Way from Portswood Road.

"Wessex Lane Bridge closed between High Road and Woodmill Lane.
"We will update when the roads are open again.
"Thank you for you patience."
