A YEAR on since the lifting of lockdown, The Lights theatre has gone from strength to strength.

With more than 40 shows and live events, a rebranding of its café The Atrium Café, as well as the reopening of various studio, rehearsal and business spaces within the building, Andover’s very own theatre has seen more than107,268 members of the public through their doors in the space of 12 months.

Prior to reopening on September 1, 2021, the venue was proud to be the local Covid Vaccination Centre, on behalf of the Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

The first show back was household name comedian Omid Djalili on 28 September 2021, and this was the perfect way for The Lights to welcome the public back safely to the theatre. More laughter, smiles, and plenty of dancing has continued since then in their auditorium and arena spaces.

Looking ahead, the theatre has booked in a packed programme of shows and events for the rest of 2022 and beyond.
