DRIVERS in Andover will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M27, from 8pm November 14 to 6am December 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 4, carriageway closure for roadmarkings, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M27, from 8pm September 26 to 6am December 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 5, carriageway closure for M27 Smart Motorways, diversion via local authority network.

• M27, from 8pm October 17 2019 to 6am December 16 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 5 to junction 4, carriageway closure for M27 Smart Motorways, diversion via local authority network.

• M3, from 8pm September 21 to 6am December 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to M27 eastbound, link road and lane closures for M27 Smart Motorways, diversion via Highways England network.

And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A303, from 8pm November 28 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Salisbury to Winchester Rd, lane closure for barrier works.

• A303, from 8pm December 4 to 6am December 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, Kingsworthy Link, link road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M27, from 8pm December 5 to 6am December 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 5 to junction 3 and M3 southbound, junction 13, carriageway and lane closures for roadmarkings, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
