A MAN has been fined and given a rehabilitation order for assault and destroying household items at an address in Andover.
Martin Edwards, 46, of Armstrong Rise in Charlton, pleaded guilty to assaulting a man and damaging TV and other household articles to an unknown value at an address in Andover on January 1.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court ordered Edwards to undertake rehabilitation activity for 16 days and pay compensation of £1,000 to the victim.
He should also pay £40 costs, £114 surcharge and £96.
Edwards was given a restraining order from entering the address where the assault happened.
