SIXTH form students from The Wellington Academy have been celebrating their A-Level results.
On Thursday, August 15, the school said it is "very proud of the students’ hard work and dedication" over the last two years of their studies.
The students will now be moving on to a range of opportunities in a variety of areas.
A-level and vocational students have achieved equally well and in line with previous years, with the majority of students moving on to university, with an increasing percentage off to Russell Group institutions.

There are also a number of students taking up apprenticeships with the rest of the cohort moving into full-time work or taking a gap year to decide which path to take next.
Dave Bissington, head of sixth form, said: "This is the 13th results day I have now been a part of at the Wellington Academy and is one which adds itself to the list of my proudest days at the academy.
"The students have responded fantastically to the challenges of level 3 qualifications and have completed their courses to their best possible standard.
"This is also the last results day in our current sixth form area as we look forward to moving into our new sixth form centre in September."
Rob Wood, headteacher, said: "We are extremely proud of the student’s hard work and dedication, it is an extremely challenging time of year for all so it is superb to see so many happy faces when opening their envelopes.
"I wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavours, whether that be an apprenticeship, university, or the start of their first job."
