A DIRTBIKE was seized and the riders fled the scene after driving on the pavement and playing field in Andover.
The incident happened in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 10, when a concerned member of the public reported to police that two people were riding dirtbikes on the playing fields and pavement near the skatepark, at the bottom of Roman Way.
Police attended the scene and the two bikers fled, leaving behind one bike which was seized by officers.
One of the riders has been identified and police say they will be interviewed "in the near future."

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary reads: "This afternoon, Andover Police received a report from a concerned member of the public about two dirt bikes that were riding on the playing fields and pavements near the skatepark, at the bottom of Roman Way.
"Police were quickly on scene and despite both riders making off from officers, one of the bikes was recovered and seized.
"The rider has been identified and will be interviewed in the near future.
"Riding a motorbike on a road or in a public place puts the public in danger. You commit an offence if you do not have a licence, MOT or insurance."
