An Andover man has been banned and told to pay around £2,000 for drink driving.
Leo Clifford, 57, of Emden Road, pleaded guilty to driving a Dacia on River Way in Upper Enham on August 9, when he had 59mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35mg.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on August 29 ordered him to pay £1,286 fine, £514 surcharge and £85 costs.
Clifford was disqualified from driving for 16 months with a reduction period of 16 weeks upon completion of a course.
