The High Sheriff of Hampshire is seeking nominations for the 2024-2025 Community Awards.
These annual awards, hosted by the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation, celebrate the efforts of public servants, individuals, volunteers, charities, and community organisations who strive to make Hampshire a better and safer place.
This year, the awards will particularly honour volunteers and volunteer-driven groups who support the criminal justice system, including those focused on deterrence, diversion, or similar social cohesion activities.
The High Sheriff, Jon Whitaker, said: "I am delighted to have this opportunity to acknowledge ordinary people doing extraordinary things to make Hampshire a safer place to live.
"These awards will shine a light on their acts of kindness, bravery, and dedication to supporting our communities."

"We are very much looking forward to seeing this year’s nominations and urge Hampshire residents to send in their nominations."
Nominations close at midnight on January 7, 2025.
The awards ceremony will take place in early spring 2025.
Activities on the Isle of Wight are not eligible.
