ANDOVER is to become the official Headquarters Land Forces on 23 June when the move of the operation from Wilton takes place.
The Wilton base, associated with the British Army since the Second World War, is closing as part of a restructuring and some of the land there will be returned to the Earl of Pembroke, the owner of Wilton House.
Some workers have already moved to Andover's Marlborough Lines, previously known as DLO and HQQMG, but the official moving in date is 23 June.
