A 20-year-old man has been been fined and given a community order after being found in possession of class A and B drugs in Andover.

Johnny Downes admitted to carrying quantities of cannabis, crack cocaine and heroin in July when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on 8 November.

Downes of Salisbury Road, London, was made the subject of a community order requiring him to complete a rehabilitation activity requirement for 30 days.

He was also fined £40 and ordered to pay an £85 surcharge to fund victim services and £20 Crown Prosecution costs.

Forfeiture and destruction of the drugs was also ordered.
