A WESSEX Gardens man has been given a community order after admitting to making a threatening phone call and possession of class B drugs.
Richard James Newman pleaded guilty to making the threatening phone call to another man in Andover in November when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on 5 December.
The 46-year-old also admitted to possession of a quantity of cannabis.
Newman was made the subject of a community order requiring him to take part in a rehabilitation activity.
He was fined £50 and ordered to pay an £85 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 Crown Prosecution costs. The bench also ordered forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
