A NEW shop aiming to keep Andover residents active was opened by Test Valley Mayor Brian Page recently.

The Simplyhealth shop, which is located in the Chantry Centre, is aiming to offer mobility aids to people in the town.

Mr Page joined longstanding Simplyhealth customer, Ken Aspinall, to cut the ribbon and celebrate the official opening of the store.

Offering a wide range of products to help individuals with their everyday living, Simplyhealth provides powerchairs and scooters, adjust-able beds and reclining chairs among its range.

And for anyone who encounters problems with their own mobility aids, the shop also offers servicing and repairs.

Simplyhealth spokesman Kevin Snowball said: “Many people do not realise that there is such a wide variety of products that are available to help them to stay independent.

“Our customers told us that they wanted a bright and spacious shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

“We hope the shop gives individuals just that, whilst providing them with options to help achieve an active lifestyle.”

The store is situated at the top end of the Chantry Centre at 12 – 14 Chantry Way. For more information about the products available, please visit www.totallyactive.co.uk.
