Conservatives had a clean sweep as they took or retained all of their seats while Liberal Democrats came in second for all Andover seats.

Announcements throughout the early hours of the morning revealing the results of all Andover seats, Test Valley Central, Whitchurch and The Cleres and Candovers, Oakley and Overton, which the Conservatives now hold.

Andover North was first announced with Kirsty Locke with 1971 votes, taking the seat, with more than three times the number of votes, as Ukip candidate Tim Rolt, who had 538 votes.

Liberal Democrat candidate, Katherine Bird, managed to receive 1,031 votes as well.

Next up was the result from Andover West where councillor Zilliah Brooks easily managing to retain her seat with 2,745 votes.

Liberal Democrat Luigi Gregori received 970, Labour's Andy Fitchet took 714 votes and Ukip candidate, Norman Woods had 488 votes.

Finally for the Andover area, Andover South's results came in.

Conservative Martin Boiles easily took the seat with 2,389 votes to depose Independent candidate, Tony Hooke, who had 329 votes.

Liberal Democrats came up second for this seat as Richard Rowles recieved 852 votes. Labour's Felicity Thorpe-Tracey had 523 votes, Ukip's Daniel Emmerson had 280 and Green party's Catherine Hosen recieved 243 votes.

Both Tom Thacker, of Whitchurch and The Cleres, and Anna McNair Scott, candidate for Candovers, Oakley and Overton also managed to retain their seats during the election.
