Anton du Beke and Erin Boag wowed crowds at the Anvil on the latest stop off of their nationwide tour.

In their 23rd year of partnership, the nation’s favourite ballroom couple led a stellar cast featuring Strictly singer Lance Ellington, West End legend Laura Emmitt and a top class dance troupe as they danced to some of the nation’s favourite musical numbers.

With music from the London Concert Orchestra, conducted by Richard Balcombe, the duo had the audience captured with the very first step. From wonderful waltzes to terrific tangoes, Anton and Erin, the dance crew, Lance and Laura, seemlessly transitioned from movie to movie.

The nation's favourite ballroom couple, who rose to national fame after appearing in the first series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2004, had equal measures of dancing together, with their ensemble and talking to the packed audience.

Anton, as witty as ever, treated the audience to his usual opinions of his celebrity dance partner - this time positive after reaching his first Strictly final. He made one lucky audience member's night as they were invited up onto stage to rumba with him.

Erin spoke of her love for dresses in iconic movies, revealing her delight of being able to wear frocks made famous by Ginger Rogers and Marilyn Monroe.

The pair danced to songs including Let's Face the Music and Dance, Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Moon River, whilst Anton, Lance and Laura joined forces to perform Good Morning from Singin' in the Rain.

Opening up the second half with a James Bond-themed medley, and once the rest of the cast were out on stage in their sharpest suits, out comes Anton dressed as Austin Powers, sending the audience into hysterics. It of course led to his finest take on THAT famous Craig Revel Horwood comment on his teeth from last year.

After the stunning lift from Dirty Dancing and an epic performance of Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On from Laura, the stage was set for the finale - a Greatest Showman medley, complete with canes and top hats. Overall, an excellent evening of glittery showbiz that left you wanting more.
