Several UK mobile network providers have removed data charges for customers accessing the NHS website online during the coronavirus outbreak.
Vodafone, EE, O2 and three are among the mobile firms who have agreed to the initiative.
According to the statement released via twitter by The Department of Health and Social Care, these websites will be free to access as of today:
This is to make sure everyone can get NHS information and advice without using up data allowance or mobile credis.
Matthew Gould, chief executive of NHSX, said: "This is a helpful step by the mobile firms to give everyone free access to the latest NHS information online.
"It will help spread NHS guidance, and tackle online misinformation. Getting the public verified NHS information will help cut through the noise and help people get expert, safe advice".
This comes after many major phone networks went down on Wednesday following a slew of people working from home after Tuesday night's daily briefing.
