A WOMAN has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a paramedic in Brighton Hill.
Police were called to Copland Close just after 1pm today (June 15) after receiving the reports of assault and that damage had been caused to a vehicle.
A resident told the Gazette that just after lunchtime, a paramedic response car turned up to the road, before an ambulance and multiple police cars also arrived at the scene.
As a result, a 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker, and criminal damage.
Police say she remains in custody.
