THE TWO people arrested after a suspected drug deal in Popley on Friday have been released under investigation.
Hampshire Police have confirmed that the 37-year-old woman and the 38-year-old man that were taken into custody have now been released whilst enquiries are ongoing.
As previously reported, the duo were stopped in a Sainsbury's car park, with officers saying they found cannabis and cocaine in the car, as well as a large amount of cash, in a BMW.
A property on Ferndown Close, Beggarwood was searched at around 9pm on Friday in connection with the incident.
