A MAN from Ramsdell has appeared in court accused of making almost 100 images of child pornography.

Stephen Gould, of Monk Sherborne Road, is accused of making the images in a three month period in 2018.

According to the charges, they include 32 category A still and moving indecent images.

The CPS defines category A as "images involving penetrative sexual activity, sexual activity with an animal or sadism".

He is further charged with distributing six category A moving and still images.

The 68-year-old, who has not yet entered a plea to the charges, has been remanded on conditional bail, to appear at Winchester Crown Court on August 5.
