AN 8-YEAR-OLD Basingstoke Town fan has emailed councillors set to decide on two planning applications at the Camrose tonight.
Archie and his father Richard sent the email to try and persuade councillors to not grant planning permission.
The full letter reads:
I love football, I play for Chineham Tigers Under 9's where my dad is a coach.
I attended my first game at the Camrose in 2016 and have been lucky enough to be a mascot at a number of games. I have been going on a regular basis over the last 4 years with my dad, uncles, cousin and grandads. I have my season ticket for this year already, along with my dad.
I am looking forward to watching the team play at Winklebury but hope that it's not too long before we are moving up the leagues!!
Maybe FA Cup winners 2050 (could this be on the horizon)
Hope the photos make you smile 😁 I really enjoyed all these opportunities. What a great club it is with lots of possibilities for growing.
Thank you for taking the time to read my message, hopefully one day I might see you at football?
