DRIVERS will be facing diversion and delays across Hampshire in the coming weeks as various roadworks begin.

Across Hampshire roads are about to be repaired, potholes patched up and water and electric works carried out.

Here’s a round-up of what to expect on the roads in and around Hampshire over the next two weeks.

A354

A 60-mile diversion will be in place full seven days on the A354.

The diversion will last from October 28 to November 3 to undertake carriageway resurfacing.

The road closure will be in place day and night and is issued by Hampshire County Council.

The diversion which is 60 miles in total will take around one hour 23 minutes.

Basingstoke Road, Basingstoke

BT will be carrying out work from October 26 to October 28.

An 11-mile diversion will be in place that will take around 26 minutes the drivers.

Linden Avenue, Old Basing, Basingstoke

A5 minutes diversion will be in place from October 19 to December 18.

A temporary road closure will it be in place for footway resurfacing.

Byrd Gardens, Basingstoke

carriage resurfacing will be taking place from October 28 to October 30.

A3 mile diversion will be in place totalling eight minutes the drivers.

Parkhouse roundabout, Shipton Bellinger, Tidworth

a diversion will be in place from 22:00 hours on October 28 till 23:59 hours on October 31.

Highways England will be carrying out roadworks for the A303 the diversion will take around 17 minutes and will total 14 miles.

Wolverton Pond, Kingsclere, Tadley

A diversion route will be in place from October 16 as Hampshire county council carry out roadworks.

The 9-mile diversion will take around 17 minutes.

B3046, Alresford

A diversion will be in force from October 16 to October 18 for roadworks issued by Hampshire county council.

The 12-mile diversion will take around 20 minutes.

Foxcotte Road, Charlton, Andover

A brief two-hour closure will take place 10 AM till 12 PM on October 26.

The diversion will take around four minutes as footbridge works take place.

A30

A 19 mile diversion will be in place for 24 hours from the October 16 to October 17.

Hampshire County Council are undertaking resurfacing work at the A30/A272 junction.

The diversion will take around 25 minutes.

Beacon Hill Lane, Southampton

A 24-hour diversion will be in place on Beacon Hill Lane from October 19 to October 20.

The diversion totals 6 miles and will take drivers on average 11 minutes.

Battery Hill, Winchester

A 6-mile diversion will be in place on October 18 on Battery Hill.

The diversion issued by Hampshire county council will take between 17 to 21 minutes

Gardeners Lane, West Wellow, Romsey

A 3-mile diversion will be put in place here from October 26 to October 28.

The full-time closure will allow residential and emergency service access.

Southern water will be carrying out work and the diversion will take around five minutes.

Furzley Lane, Lyndhurst

A 4-mile diversion will be in place from October 16 to October 20.

The diversion will be in force from 7 AM to 7 PM in the diversion route will take around 14 minutes.

Manor farm, East Wellow, Romsey

A day closure for surfacing work will take place on October 22 October 21.

The diversion will take around three minutes.

Thornhill Park Road, Southampton

Southampton City Council have issued a 3-mile diversion to take place from October 19 to December 12.

Highway improvements will be made and the diversion will take around nine minutes.

Woodhouse Lane, Southampton

a diversion will be in place  in the evenings from October 19 to October 22 issued by Hampshire county council.

A diversion issued by Hampshire County Council will be in place from 9 PM till 6 AM on October 19 to October 22.

The 9 mile diversion will take a total of 23 minutes.

Kings Copse Avenue, Hedge End, Southampton

A night time diversion from 9 PM till 6 AM will be in place from October 19 to October 22 as roadworks are carried out by Hampshire County Council.

The 5-mile diversion will take around 12 minutes.
