POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a spate of incidents involving a motorbike.

At 4.44am yesterday (September 17) Hampshire police were alerted to three men on a motorbike after they entered the CLF Logistics depot in Nursling Industrial Estate.

The men, who were all wearing balaclavas, were confronted by staff and damaged two cars before driving off.

However, officers received another report concerning three men on a motorbike, who tried to steal a motorbike from the staff area at the Tesco Distribution Centre.

This was in the same industrial estate and the men were chased away before they could steal the vehicle.

At 5.25am, Hampshire Constabulary was informed of a robbery at the westbound Rownhams Services off the M27.

A woman said she was followed by three men on a motorbike as she drove into the service area via the service road.

They approached the woman when she parked her car and demanded her keys.

When she resisted, the men damaged her vehicle and others before leaving the site.

Now, officers have revealed they believe these three incidents are linked and are stepping up their night patrols in these locations.

Inspector Chris Taylor said: “These are concerning incidents and we are determined to find those responsible.

“Officers are following several lines of enquiry. We will also be increasing our night patrols in these areas.

“As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who has information on what happened."

He added: "We would like to hear from motorists with relevant dashcam footage, or anyone with any CCTV footage that may assist.”
