POLICE officers are urging motorists not to leave anything valuable in their vehicles following a spate on thefts in Test Valley.

Hampshire police revealed they were alerted to the offences across the borough, especially in Wellow, over "the last few days".

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We’d like to take the opportunity to remind you not to leave anything of value in your vehicles.

"While most offenders are opportunistic, hiding these valuables will not stop some individuals.

"Removing all valued items includes when you are parked at home, as well as in public and at work."
