Man jailed for attacking police officer
A VILLAGER has been jailed for attacking a police officer and threatening another.
Craig Stuart Balfour, 30, admitted threatening behaviour against Adam Tune and Benjamin Broomfield in Basingstoke on September 2 last year.
Balfour, of Meryton Drive, Medstead, near Alresford, also pleaded guilty to assaulting PC Broomfield.
Magistrates in Basingstoke jailed Balfour for 12 weeks, saying it was a deliberate attack on a public servant carrying our his duties.
