STAFF and customers at a Tidworth supermarket have made sure that members of the community have something to open on Christmas Day by donating presents.
Tesco and its customers have filled three trollies full of toys which have been donated to children who won't have parcels on the day.
Nine trays have been delivered to the Windmill Hill Children's Centre and NSPCC Tidworth.
The store's community champion, Laura Kitchener-Pain, manager and customers have also made donations to local nursing homes, Bartlett House and Trinity House, so that all 64 residents will not be forgotten.
Laura said: "It's taken us four days to wrap each present but it's a great feeling that you will be giving someone some magic at Christmas on the big day.
"A huge thank you to everyone who helped us."
