BOTH councillors in the Whitchurch and Overton areas managed to retain their seats in the recent Hampshire County Council elections.
Tom Thacker and Anna McNair Scott easily won their divisions with a clear majority.
Cllr Tom Thacker, retained his Whitchurch and the Cleres seat with 3,012 votes, while Ann McNair Scott kept her Candovers, Oakley and Overton seat with 2,623.
Councillor Thacker said: “This will now be my third term as a county councillor and I am just truly humbled that people have gone out to vote and but the cross next to my name.”

Linda Stepney (Liberal Democrats) 1,128
