ANDOVER New Street take on visiting Bemerton Heath Harlequins in a Wessex League Division One promotion showdown this Saturday.

New Street are currently seventh in the table, but have games in hand on all the teams above them which including two games on sixth placed Bemerton, who they are two points behind.

New Street and Bemerton have already faced each other three times this season.

The first two times they locked horns was in the FA Cup in which after the first game ended 3-3 at Bemerton, New Street won the replay 3-2.

The pair then clashed in the league in late September and Bemerton came out on top 9-1, something New Street will want to avenge.

Last Friday, New Street lost 2-1at Laverstock and Ford with Harry Lawton scoring for the visitors seven minutes from time, after Russ Jones and James McSorley had scored for the home side

OVERTON United's Ross Cook grabbed a hat-trick in their Hampshire Premier League Senior Division game at Paulsgrove, but it was not enough as they lost 4-3.

Overton are not in action this Saturday, their next game is on November 20, when they entertain Andover New Street in a North Hants Senior Cup semi-final clash.

STOCKBRIDGE are in action this Saturday with a trip to Liphook United in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division and on Wednesday is their next home game when league leaders Bush Hill will travel to north Hampshire.
