THE Unicorn Darts Youth Academy completed their fund raising day last Saturday and as a result look set to boost their funds by around £1,000 after a marathon 12 hour stint.

Sean White travelled to Nottingham this week to become the latest member of Unicorn, the world's ultimate darts team. The 17-year old becomes the second Academy player to achieve this distinction following Jamie Kelling's induction last year.

Moses Wheeler Darts-athlon This year's day of darting disciplines is sponsored by Andy Nosko of Ability Associates and is set for Saturday August 2 at the Entertainer.

The competition, in memory of one of Andover's original darting heroes, consists of singles combined with traditional pub games such as Shanghai, Round the board on doubles, bullseyes and 25s and Halve-It. Entry fees are £5 per player with a closing date of July 30.

The current prize fund stands at £66. Week six is tonight, register by 8pm for the draw at 8.15.
