Week ten kicked off with Chilbolton taking on a weaker Stockbridge Fire Station A side due to the squad rotation system introduced by captain Kevin Robson.
It was a welcome return of Philip Langley to the Chilbolton side and in his first game of the season he beat Chris Rogers after a hard fought out game by only 14 points, giving his side a good start. Nigel Horne struggled against Zandor Lowe, who was knocking the balls in everywhere, giving Chilbolton a five point head start. Next up was Korbin Lowe against Ian Carpenter, but neither could get in to their rhythm, until Korbin finished the game with a 20 break and a seven point lead. This left George Carpenter to salvage some points but this was very unlikely as he took on Dean Turner, whose average is 99 and has only lost one game all season. Dean knocked in a 20 break early on and there was no hope for George to come back and he struggled to score just 38 points, leaving Chilbolton with a 16-5 victory.
