Andover Triathlon Club hosted another successful day of triathlons in the beautiful grounds of Farleigh School, Redrice on Sunday.

The event was blessed with near perfect weather from start to finish and was again hailed a tremendous success from all involved. The club hosted an adult sprint race in the morning, which comprised a 440m swim in the pool, an 18-mile bike course and a five-mile run using local villages. This was followed by junior and youth races in the afternoon, which were all contained in the grounds of the school. All three races saw record numbers taking part, with just shy of 300 competitors finishing the courses in total. There were many repeat entries from previous years and many taking part in their first ever triathlon in addition to a large entry from Longparish School and athletes from the Army Air Corp who were using the event as their club championship.
