ANDOVER Cricket Club said goodbye to a club legend and one of the most talented players in its history during a special end of season friendly last weekend.

David Taylor officially retired from the sport after taking part in the cricket club’s annual vice chairman friendly, held at the London Road ground on Saturday afternoon.

The announcement puts an end to the 41-year-old’s astonishing 24- year career, which has seen him play at some of the sport’s highest levels including a four-year spell on the national county circuit.
