AMPORT Cricket Club’s Indoor team were recently crowned Salisbury Indoor League Open Cup champions.
The young side, which included three 16-year-olds and two 14-yearolds, beat South Wilts B in the final to lift their first trophy for several years.
The club, who beat South Wilts A and Shrewton during their cup run, also finished runners-up of the Salisbury Indoor Division One.
During their impressive season they beat Shrewton A, who previously held second spot, and eventual league champions South Wilts A.
This year’s team consisted of Lee Ayers, Mark Aers, Robbie Taylor, Ollie Cox, Nathan Birks, Charlie Ayers and captain Alex Ayers.
