STOCKBRIDGE let a 1-0 half-time lead slip as they lost 4-1 at home to Bush Hill.

The Robins went ahead early on after Liam Dufall cut in from the left to fire home after eight minutes.

The hosts could have gone into the interval two up when Steve Lace found space from a corner on 22 minutes, but his shot was cleared off the line when it looked set to hit the back of the net.

At the break the home side looked good for their one goal lead, and as the second half got underway Lace had a couple of shots in quick succession blocked by the visiting keeper.

Just after the hour mark Bush Hill pulled level and this opened the flood gates for last years Hampshire Premier League champions.

Two penalties in quick succession gave the visitors a 3-1 lead within 10 minute period.

With 10 minutes remaining Stockbridge looked to get back in the game when Will Hall found space inside the penalty area and flicked the ball on to Dufall who tried a shot but hit the side netting.

However, with a minute left on the clock Bush Hill extended their lead to 4-1.

The Robins will hope to get back to winning ways when they travel to Hedge End tomorrow.
