ANDOVER History and Archaeology Society is researching the photographs of Edith Howard, who ran a business in the town for a number of years.
According to the Andover Advertiser in July 1992, Howards the Photographers closed after almost 100 years of trading. Edith was the daughter of the original proprietor, Charlie Howard. The business was based at premises in the High Street.
If anyone has information about Miss Howard, her family or the business, the society would be delighted to hear from them by email at andoverhistory@gmail.com.
