MIGHT I have some space to thank someone very special to me for all that he does for me?

Ken Smith my husband, friend, and companion is wonderful to me. He shuffles me around three days a week to different classes, Mondays it’s Riverside writers at the library in Salisbury, Tuesday it’s coffee pot; we share a coffee and chat with friends at Fletcher Hall at Shipton Bellinger.

Wednesday it’s hair or feet, or a cuppa with wonder woman Emma at Tidworth surgery. Thursday it’s Wiltshire creative at the art centre for poetry in Salisbury.

Friday it’s painting at Bemerton Church Hall, Salisbury.

We keep ourselves busy and neither of us are in good health. Ken is an ex coalminer and has trouble with chronic obstructive pulmonary Disease and bronchitis, He suffered a heart attack about six years ago. Poor Ken has had radiotherapy for prostate cancer and a fortnight into the treatment he went down with pneumonia.

We travelled to Southampton in the most horrific weather for eight weeks. He struggles for breath now, and it hurts me to see him struggle so.

Thank you, Ken, for all that you are and do for me, I love you.
