‘THE High Street is dying’ is a phrase we often hear. If what happened to me yesterday (Saturday) I’m not surprised.
We parked at the back of Iceland, my husband put a pound in the machine, no ticket.
So I stayed in the car so I could explain if an attendant came round and get help to get a ticket.
The attendant arrived I tried to explain and the very aggressive answer was ‘you are not telling the truth you are a liar’.
In the end I put another pound in the machine and got a ticket out, and found another pound in the reject area, which could have been ours.
A simple mistake with a simple way to resolve it. No need for such venom and aggression.
I will not be going back there. I must also mention its not Iceland’s fault, they have been very nice and polite.
Not a good advert for Andover.
