I AM writing on behalf of Andover Town Band to register our thanks to the generous people of Andover for their donations during our Christmas performances.
We performed in the Time Ring on Sunday, December 23 where a total of £336 was raised. We also performed in the Chantry Centre on Monday, December 24 where a total of £331 was raised.
We are very grateful for the support the local community has shown over the Christmas period and it has been a pleasure to perform and entertain the shoppers and workers. The contributions will be used to further promote the activities of the band and to enable us to continue to support other charities and organisation within the community.
The band is set to have a very busy and exciting year with an upcoming tour to Portugal in May and many other local concerts and performances. We hope to see many of our local supporters in the audiences and we wish everybody a Happy New Year.
