After a successful launch last month, entries have been received across all seven award categories from all corners of the region for the Test Valley Business Awards 2021.

Now in its 17th year, the awards are open to businesses of any size operating across the Test Valley and aim to celebrate the businesses in region by shining a light on them, especially after the previous 15 months.

Robin Chave, CEO of the University of Southampton Science Park said: “The awards are a great way for local businesses of all sizes to shout about what they are doing.

“We have some amazing companies doing work of international importance, often out of sight who don’t receive the praise, or publicity, they deserve.

“The Awards aim to redress that. The science park has businesses that match every award so we are busy encouraging everyone to apply”

The seven award categories for this year’s event include Innovation & Technology, New Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Business in the Community, Businesswoman of the Year, The Employer of the Year and Cutting Your Carbon Footprint.

Entries are now open for the awards. You can apply until midnight on September 3. You can enter as many categories as possible with approximately 200–250 words about your business, responding to the relevant judging criteria.
