The last meeting of the Andover Women in Business Club year is traditionally a garden party.
This year the unseasonably cold weather meant the party had to be held indoors at the president's home. Nevertheless a group of 20 members with their partners and guests enjoyed an evening of food, drink and lively conversation.
There was also a Bring and Buy table in aid of this year's charity, The Countess of Brecknock Hospice.
If you a woman just starting in business or newly arrived in the area members would love to see you at a club meeting.
AWIBC was founded in 1992 and aims to provide a forum for local business and professional women of all ages to meet and to support and encourage each other. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday evening of each month with a varied programme.
Speakers are invited to talk on both business related and general interest topics and are interspersed with social and networking evenings.
After the annual meeting in September the next meeting will be Tuesday 7 October.
