AN evening of fashion and make-up presented by Eye 4 Beauty at Harrow Way Community School raised £1,200 for The Katie Piper Foundation.

Among the audience were Katie Piper’s family.

Spectators were treated to goody bags donated by Eye 4 Beauty and live entertainment by local musicians Sarah Lockey and Outside Central.

Sponsors Eye 4 Beauty and GHD arranged a popup salon where visitors were treated to hairstyling, manicures or a massage for a donation.

The models’ hair was styled by Sarah Parker and Shaun Johnson from The Salon at Eye 4 Beauty.

Andover resident Saffron Craig-Lowdon organised the catwalk, showing garments borrowed from local retailers such as Tesco, Scats, New Look, Animal, The Dress Boutique, Vision Bridal and Mooch, plus a selection of clothing from charity shops.

The evening ended with a raffle, with a wide range of prizes donated by local businesses, with one lucky ticket winner walking away with a pair of GHD Eclipse Stylers worth £195.

Saffron said: “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the fashion show.

“I’m pleased to have raised money for an amazing cause.”

Carol Borwick, head of fundraising at The Katie Piper Foundation, said: “Our thanks to the team at Eye 4 Beauty in Andover and in particular Saffron Craig- Lowdon, for organising this stunning fashion show.

We’re truly grateful for the significant sum raised, which will help us in all that we do to support those with burns and scars.”
