ENHAM Alamein became a winter wonderland for the weekend as Father Christmas arrived in the village.
Visitors flocked on Saturday to the Enham Trust’s fundraising Snowflake Trail, which started at the charity site and wound its way into the village of Enham Alamein.
It finished at Santa’s grotto on the green.
Yvonne Campbell, who co-ordinated the event, said: “This was Enham’s first Christmas fundraising event on this scale so I’m really pleased so many people turned out to support it.
“We are hoping to make this a regular fixture on the pre-Christmas calendar.”
There was also a Christmas shopping village in the Landale Wilson Hall where people could stock up on all their festive essentials and Andover Town Band kept crowds entertained.
Father Christmas will be back in his grotto at the cottage on the green in Enham Alamein on Saturday from 10am until 2pm. There will also be Christmas trees for sale with all proceeds going to the charity.
